Florida man tells police his wife was abducted by intruders using holograms

MARTIN COUNTY, Fla., Feb. 7 (UPI) -- When Martin County Sheriff's investigators approached a rental trailer in Florida, one of its inhabitants informed them that his wife had been abducted by intruders who were using holograms.

The 53-year-old man was "extremely agitated" when he told a deputy that "they abducted her."

According to a police report, "(The man) stated that they used holograms to project signals on the walls to get him to do what they wanted and to communicate with each other.”

After the man’s 51-year-old wife -- who may actually have been his girlfriend -- was contacted, she told police she was at a trailer belonging to the man's aunt because the "men" had chased her there, TC Palm reported.

The man and woman both said "intruders used holograms to trick them into thinking that they were in the house and then chased them to the aunt's trailer several lots down.”

The aunt told deputies the woman "was seeing people and animals at her trailer that were not there."

The owner of the trailer said she planned to serve eviction notices "in the very near future” and that police had been called in the past because the man was in the road with a gun and the woman was "digging for gold,” also in the road.
