The controversial neighborhood watchman was acquitted in the fatal shooting death of African-American 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, has signed off on fighting in match that will be set up by celebrity boxing promoter Damon Feldman.
According to Feldman, an opponent hasn’t been selected yet, but Zimmerman is willing to step into the ring with just about anyone. "We're not looking at it as a race thing ... We haven't discussed purple, yellow, white, black,” Feldman told TMZ.
Anyone who is interested can email firstname.lastname@example.org. The fight is expected to happen on March 1.
One person who will likely send a message to that address is rapper the Game.
"I will beat the [expletive] out of him,” the Game said. "I would not be boxing for me. I'd be boxing for the legacy of Trayvon Martin and for his family."
"I would box him to knock him out. I would definitely take pleasure in it. It's legal, and I want to show him you can solve your disputes without a weapon."
The Game is almost six-and-a-half feet tall, weighs 240 lbs and has a tattoo of Martin on his leg.
