EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Jan. 30 (UPI) -- It probably doesn’t make sense to call phone numbers that are scrawled on the walls of bathrooms or inside phone booths, but dialing the digits in Old Spice ads can apparently have very favorable results -- free Super Bowl tickets.

After an Old Spice Super Bowl commercial slated to run on Sunday leaked, Buzz60 producer Scott Knowlton called the non-555 number shown in the ad because he was doing research for a possible story.

Knowlton was the first person to call the number and he was rewarded with two tickets to Sunday’s game between the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks.

“I saw this girl giving out her number to a guy in the commercial; turned out it was a real number, so I called it,” Knowlton said.

After Knowlton got through, more than 1,000 other people called the number but they were too late.
