A Hong Kong billionaire has doubled the dowry for any man who marries his 33-year-old lesbian daughter from $60 million to $120 million.

When Cecil Chao, 76, originally made his offer to reward any man who could marry daughter Gigi Chao, 20,000 suitors applied.

Chao said that Gigi, who is currently in a civil partnership with her long-term girlfriend after recently eloping to France, “can choose whatever she wants” but that he will give any man who pursues his daughter “a moderately deluxe life.”

The playboy property developer claims to have slept with 10,000 women.

“I never counted, but it’s possible,” he told the Financial Times. “Every day you can date one, two, three or four women. I have many good friends. We share our life, not just limiting to one person. I like to live a free and happy life.”

The dowry offer is now the subject of a Hollywood film being developed by Sacha Baron Cohen with the working title The Lesbian.

Though Gigi is rejecting potential suitors, she still has a good relationship with her father, who says he just wants grandchildren.

"First of all, I'm concerned about his use of the word 'dowry' in an Asian country, as it is well known that dowry deaths are a human rights concern in India, and I don't want people to step backward on hearing this news," she said in an interview with the South China Morning Post.

"Secondly, I don't think my dad's offering of any amount of money would be able to attract a man I would find attractive. Alternatively, I would be happy to befriend any man willing to donate huge amounts of money to my charity, Faith in Love, provided they don't mind that I already have a wife. Third and lastly, thank you Daddy, I love you too," she said.
