The babysitter, Alexander Edwards, allegedly used a home tattoo kit and he has been charged with abduction, malicious wounding and felony child neglect. Advertisement Mother Melissa Delp and boyfriend Daniel Janney have also been charged with malicious wounding and felony child abuse charges because they allegedly used a hot razor blade to try and remove the ink. According to Maj. L.T. Guthrie of the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office, the attempt to remove the tattoos only made things worse. “These charges [against Delp and Janney] stem from their response to what they found when they came home,” Guthrie said. “There was an effort to cover these tattoos up. It didn’t help the situation any. It added more scarring.” The two girls, neither of whom consented to the tattoos, may still be able to get rid of them. The co-owner of GO! Tattoo Removal in Pennsylvania is offering the two victims tattoo removal services free of charge.
