Equipped with the knowledge that Upshaw was also dealing out of the restaurant’s parking lot, detectives were able to set up a controlled buy and bust the 28-year-old.
Upshaw, who received early release from a three-year sentence for possession with intent to deliver, is now facing charges of possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to deliver and delivery of heroin.
“Distributing or selling heroin from the restaurant,” said Murrysville Police Sgt. Tom Kusinsky. “He was doing it right there at the McDonald’s. The process at which he took, I’m not sure of.”
