Jan. 8 (UPI) -- An Oklahoma man was arrested Tuesday night after he allegedly administered a fatal “atomic wedgie” to his stepfather when he killed him by hitting him in the head and suffocating him with his own underwear.

Brad Davis of McLoud, Okla., told investigators that he killed his 58-year-old stepfather Denver Lee St. Clair with an "atomic wedgie" on the evening of Dec. 21.

St. Clair’s official cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head and asphyxiation, and it was ruled a homicide according to the Oklahoma state medical examiner's spokeswoman, Amy Elliott.

Pottawatomie County Sheriff Mike Booth said the argument that led to the altercation occurred when both men were drinking and St. Clair was saying derogatory things about Davis’ mother.

Before the incident, Davis allegedly called a friend and stated that he was going to hurt his stepfather because he “had nothing to lose.”

Davis was booked into the Pottawatomie County jail on a homicide charge.
