When the victim confronted his brother, Jerome Davis, about over-indulging on their peanut butter and jelly supply, Davis allegedly held a folding knife at his brother’s face and threatened to cut him.

The brothers are both in their 50s.

According to the police report, Davis “made three peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and ate them in the living room. Within the next hour, the suspect made another three of these peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, bringing his total consumption of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to six. This angered the victim…”

Police arrived and confiscated two folding knives from Davis. He was charged with assault domestic abuse with a weapon and taken to jail. He reportedly told police he threatened the victim because he wouldn’t “shut the [expletive] up and mind his own business.”

A “no contact order” of protection is in place until the case is resolved.
