A French man who had the big idea of putting his resume on a billboard now has something else -- a job.

In an effort to make his credentials stand out from other job-seekers in France, Laurent Lebret plastered himself on a billboard outside the town of Antibes on the French Riviera.

The 41-year-old had been out of work for six months so he decided to do something a little bit out of the ordinary. The billboard featured a photo of Lebret wearing a suit and a Christmas hat alongside the caption, “For Christmas, I just want a job.”

Holiday resort firm Azureva offered Lebret a position as an operations manager, apparently impressed that he is trilingual and had experience working in tourism, leisure and the restaurant industry.

Other unemployed workers may want to try a similar strategy because Lebret was apparently bombarded with numerous calls and messages about various positions.
