Gypsy Taub, 44, plans to wed her 20-year-old fiancé, Jaymz Smith, after their arraignment from an earlier arrest for public nudity.
“I don’t even care any more how people react to my body because I’ve liberated myself a long time ago,” Taub said.
Taub is one of four plaintiffs who challenged a San Francisco ordinance that prohibits public nudity except for children under five.
“I do have a passion for your own freedom or choice, for the ability to be able to choose what you want to do with yourself,” Smith said.
The wedding will be a family affair and Taub’s daughter will be a flower girl, one of her sons will be the ring bearer and the other will give his mom away.
But other than booking a mariachi band for a naked parade after the ceremony, Taub hasn't made many plans for a reception.
"Planning the wedding is stressful, but it's exciting because I'm a big rebel and I just like to stir [expletive] up," Taub said. "I don't really know how weddings work."
This isn’t her first wedding, but it might be the last.
"If you want to enumerate all of the relationships I've had, it might take up a lot of space in the newspaper," Taub said. "I've had a very exciting life with a lot of passion and a lot of drama. Let's put it that way."
