Houston Church's Chicken manager fatally shoots robber

The manager of a Church's Chicken shot and killed an armed man during a robbery attempt in Houston, Texas on Friday night.

According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, three masked gunmen entered the fast food restaurant and demanded money while holding employees at gunpoint.

The manager fatally shot one of the suspects who came behind the counter.

"They had their faces covered and were wearing hoodies," said Robert Surgeon with Harris County Sheriff's Office. "One suspect ran behind counter, other two had firearms. The manager of Church's Chicken produced his own firearm and shot one of the suspects, leaving him deceased at the scene."

After seeing what happened, the other two gunmen ran away. No employees or customers were hurt during the incident.

Police are still looking for the two other suspects and they will not be filing charges against the restaurant manager.
