A wrongful death lawsuit filed in Georgia by the father of slain rapper Mario “Slim Dunkin” Hamilton has named Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane as a defendant.

According to Mark Hamilton’s complaint, Mario was preparing to shoot a video with Gucci, aka Radric Davis, at Zone 6 Studio in east Atlanta, when another defendant accused Slim Dunkin of messing with his candy.

The defendant, Vinson Hardimon, then shot and killed Mario after a scuffle.

Hardimon, aka Young Vito, was sentenced to 25 years in prison after a jury found him guilty of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and gun possession. The 29-year-old was acquitted of murder and felony murder charges.

In addition to Hardimon and Davis, the lawsuit also names ABC Corp. and Warner Brothers Music International as defendants.

Davis is already in jail on gun charges and is facing federal gun and aggravated assault charges.
