We usually don't have cases where we find people shooting up drugs in our agency's public restrooms,” sheriff's spokeswoman says.

Dec. 5 (UPI) -- A Florida woman was arrested after Pasco County Sheriff's deputies allegedly caught her shooting up with a needle in her arm in their office bathroom.

Stacy Slabach, 32, was busted last month for driving without a license. She was at the Pasco County Sheriff's evidence building with her mother to collect medication left in her impounded car.

While her mother was attempting to negotiate to get back the meds, Slabach went into the bathroom in the lobby and injected herself with cocaine. An employee walked in, saw the needle in her arm and summoned deputies to the bathroom.

Given that Slabach was caught needle-armed in lieu of red-handed and was “incoherent,” she admitted to doing the drugs.

Her bail was set at $5,450 and she was charged with possession of marijuana, cocaine and paraphernalia. Since Slabach was already at the county jail, Florida taxpayers saved a few bucks.

Sheriff's spokeswoman Melanie Snow was fairly understated about the matter. "We usually don't have cases where we find people shooting up drugs in our agency's public restrooms,” she said.
