After being contacted by the potential buyer, the seller and his girlfriend drove from Hayes Valley to an agreed upon location in the Bayview District. They gave up the console without a struggle, but the man was still shot several times and died after being taken to the hospital. “They drove away from the scene as soon as they could,” SFPD Lt. Tim Plyer told KTVU. “And they were able to get hold of a police officer who gave them aid and called for an ambulance.” The victim’s girlfriend was uninjured. They had listed the popular PS4 for $600, which would have provided a $200 profit. “I don't know that it's unique to Playstation or anything else,” said Lt. Plyer. “People do robberies, and I don't know why this one transpired, but we'll do all that we can to investigate it.” Advertisement [KTVU] Read More Beer company owned and operated by veterans open for service Hilton hikes price to $2.4 billion in the largest ever hotel IPO James Gandolfini gets New Jersey street named after him Van Halen working on new music American man detained since April in Dubai for YouTube parody video
