Police Lt. Phil Collum said that 31-year-old Joaquin Gonzalez then got into a dispute with the cabbie about the fare.
Gonzalez went inside the house and returned with a didgeridoo that he proceeded to threaten the cabbie with. The driver took off but Gonzalez chased after the car and whacked it in several places, leaving dents.
Police responded to calls about a man chasing a cab with a bat and ended up arresting Gonzalez on felony vandalism charges.
Didgeridoos are usually made of wood and can measure anywhere from three to 10 feet long.
