(UPI) -- A Walmart store in Florida had a seriously unwanted customer when a six-foot alligator wandered up to the store shortly after midnight Sunday.

Employees at the Walmart in Apopka, Fla., had to lock the doors after the gator was spotted near the front of the store. Police blocked off the area and tried to lure the animal away, and it wandered back into the woods behind the store after about an hour.
