The 7-pound 4-ounce girl was born at James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough, England, where neonatologist Jonathan Wyllie says a baby is born with teeth once or twice a year.
"We deliver 4,000 babies a year. It's every 2,000 to 3,000 births. Babies are born with one or two teeth and it's usually in the lower gum," Wyllie said.
It turns out it was father Steven who first noticed the infant's teeth, while his wife was having a bath. "When I came back into the room Steven said, "she's got teeth, you know!" and then we both burst out laughing."
