Man wearing Obama mask apprehended after robbing a New Hampshire bank

A man wearing a full-faced President Obama mask robbed a New Hampshire bank Wednesday morning.

A man has been apprehended after robbing a New Hampshire bank wearing a full-face President Obama mask Wednesday morning.

Merrimack, N.H., police arrested John Griffin Jr., 52, in connection with the Bank of America robbery.

The masked robber wore a suit coat, white shirt, red tie and black gloves.

He also carried a reusable Walmart shopping bag. Police discovered Griffin was carrying a loaded handgun when they arrested him. He did not use the gun during the robbery.

Griffin was booked for robbery in the local jail, and is being held in lieu of $75,000 bail.

He will have a hearing on September 20 in Circuit Court.
