Gatlinburg bear uses pedestrian crossing to return to woods [VIDEO]

A bear in Gatlinburg, Tenn., is traffic-savvy enough to use the crosswalk.

Sept. 12 (UPI) -- Gatlinburg, Tenn., shoppers were surprised when black bear was spotted roaming the town.

While determining its escape route, the bear weaved between people until it found an out: a crosswalk. Guess it found the city life unbearable.

The bear made a run for it and barely made it across the street before the light changed.
