Don Cenobio Sauza, a President of Tequila village, reportedly introduced the drink in the late 1800s. Ever since, it has become the fastest growing spirit in the Unites States.
Not to be confused with National Margarita Day or Cinco de Mayo, National Tequila Day is the perfect unofficial holiday to get out and try tequila cocktails.
Cheers!
