Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton went into labor early Monday morning, after several days of the "royal baby watch" becoming restless on social media.

Now at St. Mary's Hospital in London, the royal baby boy has finally arrived.

After days of speculation about Prince William's royal heir -- and now his arrival -- dominating the news, U.K. newspaper The Guardian on Monday gave online readers the option to go "Republican" and skip all word of the royal baby.

A small toggle near the top of the page lets U.K. readers switch between Republican and Royalist. To avoid confusion, the button asks U.S. readers, "Not a Royalist?" One click takes you to an edition in which all reference to English royalty is eradicated.
