Dec. 21 (UPI) -- A British thrill-seeker put a modern twist on a classic aquatic sport when he went water-skiing on top of an iPad.

Nick Druce was filmed Saturday at the Frimley Lodge Park in Farnborough, England, donning a special water-skiing shoe that had been attached to the screen of an iPad in what appears to be a waterproof case.

Druce invents the sport of "iPadding" by going water-skiing on top of the device.

The footage shows Druce having some trouble righting himself in the water, but he is eventually able to stand on top of the tablet.
