Dog catches piece of carrot thrown from second-floor balcony

Sept. 12 (UPI) -- A dog showed off her impressive catching skills by snatching a piece of carrot out of the air after it was thrown from the second floor of a home.

Josh Gottsegen posted a video to YouTube showing him tossing the pieces of carrot from the second-floor balcony of a home while his dog, Olive, waits patiently with a friend below.

The canine effortlessly snatches the first snack out of the air before they hit the ground.

The dog comes close, but doesn't quite the catch the other thrown pieces.

"At least she got one!" Gottsegen says.
