Escaped horses run through highway traffic

Sept. 8 (UPI) -- A traveler on a Chinese highway captured video of a stampede of escaped horses barreling through traffic on the busy roadway.

The video, filmed Tuesday, shows the nine horses running at top speed down the highway in Suzhou City while cars go around them.

Police trailed the horses and summoned trainers from a nearby farm to help wrangle the escaped equines.

Police said the horses were recaptured safely and there were no accidents reported as a result of their presence on the road.
