July 12 (UPI) -- Police in Florida discovered "large amount" of cocaine hidden in a stuffed Cookie Monster doll in a man's car during a traffic stop.

Monroe County Sheriff's office in the Florida Keys shared a photo of the doll and the two packages of cocaine that police found hidden inside the vehicle after stopping the driver for driving with dark tinted windows and obscuring his license plate.

"Deputy Swilley could smell the odor of marijuana coming from inside the car. A search of the vehicle turned up a backpack. Inside the backpack was a blue 'Cookie Monster' doll," police said.

The deputy noticed the stuffed Cookie Monster was heavier than it should've been and cut a slit in the doll, revealing the two bags which contained about 314 grams of cocaine.

Police said paperwork inside the backpack indicated the drugs belonged to the driver, 39-year-old Camus McNair, who was arrested and charged with trafficking in cocaine.
