July 11 (UPI) -- A New York company is seeking funding for an unusual invention -- a helmet that allows children riding piggyback to "drive" their parents.

The Piggyback Driver consists of a helmet bearing a set of handlebars to allow kids riding piggyback to "steer" their parents or other patient adults.

The helmets feature a vibration system that tells the wearer which way the child is attempting to steer, as well as "turbo" button that triggers lights and sounds. The helmets also feature turn signals and a horn.

The inventors have created a demo video featuring their prototype, but they said they are still seeking investors to help put the toy into production and bring it to market.
