June 28 (UPI) -- A man in England carefully scanned through all 10 seasons of Friends to determine how much coffee each of the characters drank.

Kit Lovelace‏ shared a series of graphs Tuesday on Twitter chronicling how much coffee each character drank, how their coffee consumption changed throughout the show and how much money each character's caffeine cost.

"Digging through old stuff, just found my results from the time I went through all 236 episodes of Friends to see how much coffee they drank," Lovelace said.

His results show that Phoebe drank the most coffee, tallying 227 cups, while Rachel drank the least, consuming only 138 cups.

Lovelace's other data may explain Rachel's low coffee intake, as his graph of the coffee habits shows she drank far less coffee than the rest of the group for the show's first few seasons.

Chandler's habits underwent the most drastic change throughout the series, as he went from consuming the most coffee in the group in the first season to the second least by season 10.

Using information gathered from two different scenes Lovelace also managed to calculate how much money each character spent on coffee, including tips.

"Because Monica gets a bill in the episode 'The One With Five Steaks And An Eggplant', we know that one coffee and one scone comes to $4.12," he said. "This works out at roughly $1.46 per character, per episode. Roughly the price of a single Pret filter coffee."

Adding info from an episode where Chandler mentions leaving a 20 percent tip Lovelace calculated the group spent a total of $2,077.20 on coffee throughout the series.

Lovelace told the Huffington Post he's not a "a huge die-hard fan of the series" but was disappointed no one had accurately calculated how much coffee the characters drank on the show.

He checked every episode, but skipped most scenes weren't set in the iconic Central Perk coffee shop or didn't feature mugs or coffee cups.

"If they were somewhere were there was no coffee I would fast forward through the scene keeping an eye out for any potential mugs or cups," he said. "Any Central Perk scene, or apartment scene where they were eating and drinking I watched."
