June 13 (UPI) -- Police in Texas said a woman called 911 from a fast food drive through because she was upset at how long her chicken nuggets were taking to cook.

The Waco Police Department said employees at the eatery called 911 about 11 p.m. Friday to report a woman was refusing to move her car from the drive-through.

Police said in a Facebook post that the woman called 911 at the same time.

The officers arrived and the woman told them she called the emergency number because she was upset about how long it was taking workers to make her chicken nuggets and she thought she should get them for free as compensation.

"Yes we went on this call. No...she did not get them for free. Yes we actually tied up two officers on this call," Sgt. Patrick Swanton said in the post. "Waco PD, where life is never normal."

Swanton said the woman ended up leaving without her chicken nuggets.

"Management worked with her, gave [the customer] her money back, and we asked her to move along," Swanton told KCEN-TV.
