Chris Jones, who works at an office in Brisbane, said he looked out the lunchroom window about 10:30 a.m. Thursday and spotted a man in a mobility scooter driving in the fast lane on one of the city's busiest roads. "We were in the lunchroom having a coffee as you do and looked out onto the road and we could see a little mobility scooter coming past in the right hand lane," Jones told The Brisbane Times. "There was a bus behind him trying to get past and a whole lot of traffic behind him," he said. "It went from laughter to I hope he doesn't get injured." Jones said the man was seen going in the opposite direction a short while later. Advertisement "He came zooming past on the footpath so he obviously didn't get into any trouble," he said. He said the man was driving at a top speed of about 6 mph.
