Amphibious car makes unexpected exit from River Thames

May 22 (UPI) -- Visitors to the Thames River in England captured footage of an unusual vehicle, an amphibious car, making its exit from the water.

The video, recorded Sunday in Richmond, England, shows what initially appears to be a standard boat approaching the shore, where several boats are docked.

The craft ventures into the shallow water and tires soon become visible at the bottom of the floating vehicle.

The amphibious car then drives all the way up onto shore without any need of a tow line.
