Florida woman: Squirrels 'wreaking havoc' after she rescued baby

May 12 (UPI) -- A Florida woman said a baby squirrel she rescued from her gutter "brought his friends" and the furry little menaces are "wreaking havoc" on her patio.

Traci Frier Cassidy posted a pair of videos to Facebook showing her backyard bird feeder and the outside of her screened-in porch being overrun with squirrels.

She said the rodents showed up after she rescued a baby from her gutter.

"So, it all started with me saving a squirrel from the gutter, now he has brought his friends. They are wreaking havoc. I hate to move my feeder, because I love sitting out on patio, drinking my coffee and watching the birds. I have no idea, what else to do tho," Cassidy wrote.

Neighbors suggested bird feeder squirrel-proofing measures including covering the pole in Vaseline and using a slinky to make it more difficult to climb.
