April 28 (UPI) -- A fearless sailboat captain cruising in Mexico pulled off a "pirate" maneuver by jumping from one fast-moving boat to another.

Christian Hauser posted a video to Vimeo showing what happened when captain and diving instructor Joaquin Carboni decided to turn their trip in Bahia de Banderas, Mexico, into a "pirate adventure."

The video shows Carboni perch on the side of one boat and leap onto the other while it's in motion.

Hauser gets cheers gestures of congratulations from his traveling companions, who seem relieved he managed to survive the dangerous stunt.
