April 27 (UPI) -- A Louisiana woman celebrated her love for fast-food chain Popeyes by taking engagement photos with boxes of fried chicken.

Elyse Chelsea Clark, of New Orleans, shared an album to Facebook titled "Finally engaged!!" featuring engagement announcement-style photos of her posing lovingly alongside Popeyes fried chicken and biscuits.

"I never thought in a million years someone would love me this much," she wrote.

Clark told the New Orleans Times-Picayune she and her photographer friend, Whitney Tucker of Whitness This Photography, came up with the idea after another food-themed photo of Clark garnered some attention.

"I took a photo of me eating a hamburger and got a bunch of likes, and my friend, Whitney, messaged me with the idea and we went from there," Clark said.

The two simply hoped to show off Clark's love for Popeyes, which she said she eats "all the time," but the photos quickly went viral being shared more than 1,000 times since they were posted on Tuesday.

"I had no idea it would be this big," she said. "It's blowing up very fast. Very fast."

Clark told UPI Popeyes has yet to reach out to her or Tucker and said she would appreciate any kind of recognition from her favorite fast-food chain.

"I would be happy with anything really," she said. "Though free food, the chance to meet the Popeyes lady spokesperson, or even a follow up shoot would be very awesome."

Clark added that many people told her the post inspired them to stop by Popeyes to pick up a meal and that Tucker has been contacted for " a bunch" of shoots since the photos went viral.
