Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe April 26 (UPI) -- A Florida sheriff's office said members of its Agricultural Crimes Unit responded to a muddy ditch to rescue a cow that was nearly submerged. The Polk County Sheriff's Office said members of the unit responded Monday afternoon to the ditch in Wahneta, where they found a cow stuck belly-deep in the mud. Advertisement The rescuers used equipment from the Florida Department of Agriculture and a front-end loaner belonging to the cow's owner to hoist the bovine to safety. "She's happily back grazing in her pasture, and if she could talk, we think she would say, 'thank youuuuuuu,'" the sheriff's office said.
