Iowa soccer referee dodges the ball by doing the splits

April 25 (UPI) -- A referee at a girls' soccer championship game in Iowa avoided interfering with play by doing the splits and ducking under the ball.

A video posted to Twitter by Iowa Rush Soccer shows the referee observing play at the Iowa Rush Champions Cup during the weekend.

The soccer ball flies straight toward the referee, who manages to get under it by doing the splits and ducking her head.

"Always be ready! Best referee crew out there!" Iowa Rush Soccer tweeted.
