Driver uses unusual method to tow boat on Florida highway

April 25 (UPI) -- A traveler on a Florida highway captured video of a boat being towed by balancing on a small platform instead of a wheeled trailer.

The video, posted to Facebook by Kenneth Keegan, shows the Jeep traveling at a high speed Sunday in Hudson while toting a boat propped up at an angle on a small platform behind the vehicle.

The platform appears to scrape the ground repeatedly under the weight of the boat

Keegan said he is hoping the video will help him raise funds to afford a heart transplant for an ailing friend.
