April 24 (UPI) -- Police in Australia said a 12-year-old boy managed to drive 800 miles across the country before he was stopped by suspicious officers.

New South Wales police said officers with the Broken Hill Highway Patrol pulled over a vehicle Saturday on the Barrier Highway because its bumper was dragging on the ground.
