Colossal black bear walks off with bag of trash in California city

March 30 (UPI) -- A hefty black bear was caught on camera in a Los Angeles suburb walking off with a bag of trash -- or, as the bear would know it, food.

The corpulent bear, having apparently had enough of its winter slumber, was filmed in Arcadia taking a full garbage bag out of a neighbor's trash bin and walking down the street with its ill-gotten waste.

The video was captured about 3:15 a.m. Wednesday and neighbors said at least one trash can was later found tipped over.

The bear left peacefully with its bag of trash and was not spotted in the neighborhood again Wednesday.
