Florida alligator takes revenge on head-bopping golf ball

March 27 (UPI) -- An alligator at a Florida golf course took swift revenge on a ball that beaned it on the head by introducing the ball to its powerful jaws.

Dan McNamara was filming the alligator at the Long Marsh Golf Course in Rotonda-West when his buddy's golf ball bounced over to the reptile and bopped it on the head.

The alligator, incensed, grabs the ball in its mouth and turns it into what's sure to be an unsatisfying snack.

"I was shocked that this guy turned and looked at me, he ate my buddy's golf ball," McNamara told WFTS-TV.
