March 20 (UPI) -- The referee at a Missouri high school basketball tournament stole the show when he gave in to players' requests for a demonstration of his dunking skills.

A video posted to Instagram by Josh Philips shows a referee at the National Homeschool Tournament at Missouri State University in Springfield tossing the ball toward the hoop, running up to it, and scoring a slam dunk.

The referee in the viral video was unmasked as Tim Huskisson, a Willard, Mo., native who played for the University of Northern Colorado.

Huskisson said players had been asking him to show off his dunk during the week-long tournament, but he waited until the closing all-star games to avoid stealing the spotlight.

This ref is the goat😂 @timmyhusk22
