"In what can only be described as a bizarre circumstance, the driver was shocked to find the hawk had fortunately, survived the collision but, was somehow stuck in the grill of the Honda SUV." Firefighters arrived at the scene and used a large thick blanket and gloves to protect themselves from the hawks sharp beak and talons as they quickly pulled the hawk free. A young man, who originally tried to remove the hawk, placed the large bird in a container and brought it to a local hospital where it was treated for minor injuries and expected to recover.
