Feb. 17 (UPI) -- A Texas couple's pregnancy announcement after a long struggle with fertility issues featured their 452 IVF needles -- and two onesies for their coming twins.

Lauren Walker, 28, announced in a Facebook post, which has since gone viral, that she and her high school sweetheart, Garyt, are expecting twins after years of trying and hundreds of in-vitro fertilization treatments.

Walker's pregnancy announcement photo features her 452 IVF needles arranged in a circle around two onesies that together read "Worth the wait... and wait and wait and wait.

"We prayed for 953 days...452 Needles, 1000's of tears, 1 corrective surgery, 4 clomid/letrozole attempts, 2 IVF rounds, 3 failed transfers and & 1 Amazing GOD," Walker wrote.

"When we started, we knew off the bat that I was having issues," Walker told ABC News, "which I guess is a blessing."

The couple said supporting each other during the process of trying to get pregnant was of the utmost importance.

"We have heard stories of how going through infertility can really cause wear and tear in a marriage," Walker said. "[We decided] we come first. We need to make sure we are always taking care of each other first and foremost."

Walker's babies are due in August. She is planning to name them Duke and Diana Walker.

"Duke & Diana, you are already so loved," Walker wrote on Facebook. "Mommy and Daddy cannot wait to hold you in our arms, for we have carried you in our hearts for a lifetime."
