Jan. 24 (UPI) -- A Texas puppy shared a message to social media in an attempt to reunite with his brothers and sisters.

Texas Humane Heroes shared a photo of Frito the puppy, who was adopted from the shelter, and has begun looking to reconnect with his siblings.

"Hi, my name is Frito. I was adopted from Texas Humane Heroes on October 24, 2015," the message written on a large poster read. "I'm looking for my siblings whose names were: Domino, Snow, Raven, Cali, Buddy and Aspen. Please share my post so I can reunite with them for a puppy play date at Texas Humane Heroes."

Frito's owner Corie Gemmiti said it seemed like a good idea to reunite the litter of puppies after they had spent more than a year and a half in separate homes, according to KXAN.

"Frito has a funny little personality so I thought it would be a cute idea to get them together and see how alike they all are after being adopted separately and apart for almost a year and a half," Gemmiti said.

The shelter's Facebook post was successful in gathering at least one playmate for Frito, as Raven's owner said the puppy would be willing to attend.
