Jan. 23 (UPI) -- A burglar at a Texas tire store has been branded the "Toilet Paper Bandit" after cameras recorded him stealing cash and a four-pack of bathroom tissue.

Surveillance cameras at Crest Tires in Lubbock were recording Saturday night when a man broke into the store through the back door Saturday night and made his way to the cash register, where he stole more than $100 cash.

The man is seen going to a different area of the store, where he grabs a four-pack of toilet paper.

"Maybe they wanted to get a clean getaway, I don't know," store owner Wendy Houston joked to Everything Lubbock.

She said the man in the video was dubbed the "Toilet Paper Bandit" by her employees.

"They stole the toilet paper, which we're making fun of, which in all reality is sad, you know, because what if they really needed it?" she said.

Houston said there was about $1,000 worth of damage from the break-in.

"The damage they did to my door for a little bit of money left in the register, and toilet paper, is just not right," she said.
