Portland boy celebrates snow day by pulling chickens through street in a sled

Jan. 19 (UPI) -- A young Oregon boy celebrated his snow day in a distinctly Portland way -- taking his chickens out for some mid-road sledding.

Zachary Echavarria posted a video to Facebook showing the boy taking advantage of the snow that fell on the region this week by pulling his chickens back and forth through the street in a sled.

"You haven't seen a Portland snow day until you've seen a kid pulling his chickens in a sled," Echavarria wrote.

Portlanders have been having some fun with their snowfall in recent days, with one man creatively shoveling his front walk while unicycling and playing a set of flaming bagpipes.
