Jan. 18 (UPI) -- Two members of the University of Florida's Bass Fishing Team were filmed being thrown from their boat at a speed of 57 mph when the steering system malfunctioned.

A video posted to YouTube by user Bland Brothers Films shows fishing team members Hunter Bland and Conner Young reaching a speed of about 57 mph in their boat.

The vessel suddenly jerks and both men are thrown overboard.

"Praise God, both young men were not injured," the video's description reads. "Thanks again to FLW for their boating safety checks. Wear your life jackets and kill switches!"
