SPRUCE GROVE, Alberta, Jan. 6 (UPI) -- A pair of kittens at an Alberta farm found a fast way to make friends with the horses -- by climbing on their food.

A video recorded Thursday at the farm in Spruce Grove shows 20-week-old kittens Justin and Donald getting an up-close look at two horses by climbing on their hanging hay net.

The owner said the kittens -- named after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and U.S. President-elect Donald Trump -- were initially frightened of the horses, but they have since become fascinated by the equines.

The video shows the horses eating out of the nets and taking some time to sniff the kittens and gently prod them with their noses.
