YEKATERINBURG, Russia, Dec. 29 (UPI) -- A Russian airport shared photos of a young girl's teddy bear having adventures around the facility after it was accidentally left behind when the girl departed.
Koltsovo International Airport in Yekaterinburg said in a Facebook post that the mother of a young traveler named Ulyana contacted airport staff Monday to tell them the young girl had lost her teddy bear somewhere at the facility before catching a plane to Thailand on Christmas Day.
The airport's post said staff quickly located the bear and started snapping pictures of it around the airport to reassure the girl that her stuffed friend would be OK until she returned to Russia.
"While you swim and sunbathe, he lives here," the airport said. "Here are some photos of how he spends his time."
The photos show the sweater-wearing bear enjoying a ride in a coin-operated rocket ship, having some honey cake, riding a rocking horse, sleeping in the "children's room," lounging about with some Christmas trees, and "waiting" for his young owner while watching planes out the window.
