MATSUE, Japan, Dec. 9 (UPI) -- A German man living in Japan captured video of a park's unique Christmas celebration: A parade of penguins dressed up as Santa Claus.

Tristan Junker posted a video to his Amazing Japan page on Facebook showing the six penguins clad in Santa capes and jingle bells.

The penguins are ushered through the park by a staffer, much to the delight of onlookers.

One of the penguins manages to escape the handler's notice momentarily and appears to make a brief break for freedom before being shooed back to his comrades.

"Isn't this one of the cutest things you have ever seen!?" Junker wrote. "When visiting the Vogelpark in Matsue one does not only discover various exotic birds but can also feed and take pictures with them. We were especially excited about the penguin show!"
