Security camera records alleged drunk driver's bizarre reverse crash

DANDENONG, Australia, Dec. 8 (UPI) -- A security camera in Australia captured a bizarre crash involving a car that reversed down a residential street, did a U-turn, and crashed into another vehicle.

The video, posted to Facebook and YouTube by Dash Cam Owners Australia, shows a silver hatchback in Dandenong, a Melbourne suburb, reversing down a residential street.

The car ends up going over the curb and traveling across the sidewalk and into a resident's yard.

The vehicle then returns to the road, does a backward U-turn, and slams rear to rear into a parked red car.

The driver of the silver car was allegedly drunk.

"Driver was reportedly arrested for the purpose of submitting a breath analysis," the YouTube post said.
